Beautiful Brydes!!! 🤯❤️
Our Friday trip turned out to be one of the most exciting this season, as we found a pod of Brydes Whales just a few miles from the Sydney Coastline!
Brydes whales (pronounced Broodus) are similar our Humpbacks as they are Baleen whales. However they are much slimmer and faster with a much more pronounced Dorsal Fin.
We’d like to give a shout out to our good friend and whale fanatic Dr Vanessa Pirotta🐋🐳🐬 for her help with the identification, our friends in the Marine Mammal Research world have been getting very excited about the sighting, and it’s a privilege to be able to share anything like this!
